The XM-SD51X subwoofer amplifier puts 250 watts RMS at your disposal (500 watts with a 2-ohm load), plenty of power for a subwoofer or two. The bass boost circuit (0-10 dB at 40 Hz) kicks up the lows when it's needed. MOSFET power supplies and output stages ensure you'll have a steady stream of power, even when the amp is subjected to high demand. The XM-SD51X is equipped with a low-pass filter, continuously variable from 50-300 Hz, with a slope of 12 dB/octave. It is constantly activate (cannot be switched off). A level control is included that can be mounted in the front of the vehicle for easy access. The remote is connected to the amp with the included cable (4 lead phone cable with RJ-11 connectors at both ends). This Class D amp features a subsonic filter, which removes ultra-low frequencies for cleaner performance.
